The annual pass as a "Jobticket": the employer pays for the employee's annual pass
What is the Jobticket?
Companies can pay for the annual pass for their employees and claim it as a "Jobticket" for tax purposes. In other words, the Jobticket is an annual pass paid for by the employer for the employee.
How do I get a Jobticket?
There are two ways in which employees or companies can obtain Jobtickets:
Option 1: The employee buys the annual pass.
This is how it works:
- The employee orders and pays for an annual pass for themselves.
- He/she is then reimbursed the purchase price of the annual pass by the employer.
You can buy the annual pass here:
- online in the WienMobil Ticketshop
- in the WienMobil app
- at one of our ticket offices
This is how you can pay for your annual pass:
- with SEPA direct debit: monthly or annual direct debit
- with one-off payment in advance: on site in cash, with debit or credit card; online also with Paypal, instant bank transfer or ApplePay
This is how you receive your invoice:
You can download the invoice for the current period of validity of the annual pass in your online account in the WienMobil Ticketshop or request it from the customer service department.
Can the employee manage the Jobticket themselves (change personal information, renew the annual pass)?
As the employee has ordered and paid for the annual ticket themselves, they can also manage it themselves (change data, renew it, cancel it).

Option 2: The employer/company orders and pays for the annual pass for its employee(s).
For whom is this option possible?
For companies that buy at least ten annual passes for employees.
This is how it works:
We offer companies that buy at least ten annual passes for employees the option of purchasing Jobtickets on account. With this option, the contract is processed between the employer (company) and the Corporate Customer Service of Wiener Linien..
This is how you as a company can order Jobtickets for your employees:
- Contact the Corporate Customer Service. They will provide you with the cost coverage form for the annual passes.
- Fill out the cost coverage form and send it back to the Corporate Customer Service.
- To order annual passes, we need a completed and signed order form for each employee, as well as a photo and an official photo ID (as a copy if sent by post).
- We create the annual passes. Billing takes place afterwards via purchase on account.
- If your employee already has a valid annual pass, this annual pass must be cancelled for billing reasons.

Can the employee manage the Jobticket themselves (change personal information, renew the annual pass)?
With this option, the contract is processed between the employer (company) and the Corporate Customer Service. Therefore, the employee can only partially manage the annual pass themselves (change data or cancel the annual pass yes, renew the annual pass no).
