Trainee programme

Our training programme enables you to familiarise yourself with various departments, to put to use the knowledge acquired during your training and to build on this. The aim: You will learn about the most important processes at every station, along with the day-to-day business and how this dovetails with other departments. This way you can look behind the scenes and get a full picture of what the company does.

Next stop: experience, networking, opportunities

As a trainee you will explore several different areas of Wiener Linien over the course of 18 months. We define which stops are the right ones for you, depending on your field of study, experience, interests and the needs of the respective departments.

You will work independently on a project during the trainee programme, enabling you to put what you have learned into practice. You will finish the programme by presenting your project to the general managers and senior management.

You will have a mentor at your side for your entire time as a trainee – this is normally someone from management or a technical expert. You have the opportunity to talk about how things are going in regular meetings. You can make and develop contacts in the company thanks to the range of seminar days, excursions and network meetings that are held.
