Career reorientation: come on board and move on up
In cooperation with AMS (the Austrian employment agency) and the "FiT - Frauen in Handwerk und Technik" initiative (Women in Crafts and Technology), Wiener Linien has started the third round of training in Applied Electronics, which began in autumn 2022.
Twelve women are now participating in a shortened apprenticeship to become specialists, enabling them to demonstrate their skills as electrical technicians for vehicle technology, communications equipment or train control technology.
